Littlestown Library – The Cabin Fever Cure!

As the weather outside turns colder and summer continues to fade into a memory, do you find yourself looking for something to do? Do you want to prevent cabin fever before it comes? Well, how about something from the Littlestown Library to chase away the cold weather blues! The Littlestown Library has a selection of DVDs, CDs, audiobooks, and of course good old fashion books to help keep you busy! If you don’t know what you want, Mr. Keith (that’s me) or Mr. Steve would be more then happy to assist you in preventing cold weather boredom!
Not only does the Library have some really cool stuff, we also have programs to keep your sanity intact! For the younger set, we have our weekly storytime with Miss Rose every Wednesday at 11:30 AM. For those teens to cool for storytime, we have our monthly teen movie. In November it will take place on 1 PM on Saturday, Nov 22nd. Snacks are provided to assuage your hunger pangs. For adults we have our monthly adult book discussion group that meets (generally) on the third Friday of the month at 11:00 AM. We offer access to many magazines and electronic resources through POWER Library, a state wide program of informational databases. We also provide access to Mango Language programs to help you learn foreign languages. We offer downloadable videos, including popular movie titles, through the MyLibraryDV service.
